Healthy recipes to lose weight

The last week and the last 5 pounds!
I'm going to make my goal of 30 pounds!
(I hope)
These last 5 pounds are hard to get off!

I have had some recipe requests.. so here they are:

Bison Chili ~ Serves two (Protocol serving size)
But you can double this recipe for more servings

7 oz ground bison
1 can fire Roasted diced tomatoes
1/2 Finely chopped onion
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon cumin
1 TEAspoon garlic
1 TEAspoon chili powder (or to taste)
1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

Brown bison slowly then add onion and cook till tender.
I take a emulsion blender and make the tomatoes smaller and smoother but still chunky.
Add tomatoes, cilantro and spices and simmer for at least 1/2 hour. Longer if you have the time or can stand it.

The other request I had was for French onion soup:
(Serves Two apx. 1 cup Protocol Diet portions) or double for more servings.

1 carton beef broth (not stock)
1 large sweet onion sliced or diced (Its easier to eat diced)
1 tab coconut oil (or olive if not on no oil diet)
1/2 Celery salt
1/2 tea Mrs Dash
1/2 tea Braggs
1-2 cloves of already roasted garlic

Heat oil and add onions and cook very slowly to caramelize.
Heat broth and spices and Braggs in separate pot.
Add roasted garlic to onions once caramelized and brown!
Add the onions and garlic to the broth and simmer 10 minutes.

For my carb eating friends and family...

Grilled Fish OR Fish Tacos
If you aren't eating carbs enjoy as is!

If you are eating carbs, steam corn tortillas and serve with
cabbage (red or green) and cilantro dressed in a little salsa verde.

Marinate fresh or frozen fish (chicken or beef too) in any marinade you like.
For a healthy marinade use:
1 cup water
2 TABLESPOONS of your favorite Mrs. Dash blend
1 Tab. Braggs (or soy sauce)
1 Tab. Balsamic Vinegar
marinate fish in HALF the marinade
Put the other half in a small sauce pan and reduce by half and use as a topping for meat or fish.
Discard marinade fish (or meat) was in.

Bring to a boil then a low slow simmer watching carefully not to burn.

It should look like this:

The drinking water is one of the best diet tips for men. Replace all of the soda that you drink with water. Water not only quenches your thirst more effectively but also is completely calorie free. You'll be eliminating many empty calories from your diet without losing much substance. You also will be helping to process your meals more efficiently, resulting in a higher metabolic rate. Thanks.

Throughout the history of Western art, drawing the human figure from living models was considered the most useful tool in developing the skill of draftsmanship. In some cases, the model may pose with various props, other models, props, against real or artificial background, and under various lighting conditions. Thanks.

Introduce a cardio heavy workout regimen at least three days a week. This means running, biking, swimming or hiking for about forty minutes during those sessions. Thanks a lot.
