Its official!


Ok, I don't look like that yet
 but that's my goal for summer! 
That body and the boys chasing me!
Whoo Hoo!

I have lost 20 solid pounds of fat, since I started the hCG protocol. I did have to take a 1  1/2 month break and then another 2 month break in between rounds. I started the journey in November. I'm not stopping this time till I reach my goal. No breaks this time... I'm staying on the hcg till I get to my goal!

Exercise day!




Weight loss update:
I have shed 9 pounds in 12 days! Gosh...  I love this diet! I'm not gonna say its been easy tho... But it has been worth it. I already feel different this round. Fat is moving out and lean muscle is moving in! I added the extra exercise and I think I am onto something. For me at least. Everyone is different and everyone needs to find her stride when working toward losing unwanted fat.

I also take my dog out for a 2 mile walk everyday. We have a pretty fast pace, not a run or jog, just a brisk little walk and it takes us about 40 minutes. I listen to my ipod and enjoy the Arizona weather! Especially now when its beautiful! In a few months I am going to have to walk really early in the morning to avoid the searing heat. But in the summer I also swim everyday on top of walking. 

Here are some new posts of meals I have been having on this diet: 500 calories isn't very much so I have to make the best of it!

For lunch today we had Apple chicken sausage and Sweet Cucumber salad.

For dinner last night we had Lime/Cilantro halibut and steamed asparagus. 

For dessert we had a bowl of fresh Strawberries.... Have you noticed how gorgeous strawberries are this year?

And of course I have all and more of my 8 eight ounce glasses or water and lemon or lime!

Weight loss update...
Its been a week now now and I have lost 7 pounds! I feel great and am in this round for the long haul. That means I'm going to stay on the protocol for as long as it takes to lose 30 pounds.

Last night we had:
Herb incrusted tilapia with steamed spinach and a couple of fresh strawberries.

For Sunday Breakfast this morning we had:
A bowl of sliced strawberries and a couple blackberries. YUM!

And for Sunday lunch:
A Naked Burger 
(100 grams organic very low fat beef with sautéed onion
 and tomato wrapped in a lettuce leaf.)

We eat pretty well considering 
we are only consuming 500 calories!

Weight loss update...

I have lost 6 pounds since March 14th! And I am going to continue to lose till I reach my goal!
It may take a while... But I'm alright with that. Round I and II were just for practice! Third time is a charm!

Also March 14 is the anniversary for me of when I quit smoking... that would be FOUR years now! Whoo hoo!

Today is a Doc. Appt. Weigh in... Vitamin B etc...

I'm going to attempt to do a work out today and a 2 mile walk... depending on what the Doc. Say's about my foot.

Back on the hCG Protocol!


Its round three for Hubby and me!

We had our two load days and two injections and are ready to start on Monday the VLCD (very low calorie day) with hCG injections once again. The last two rounds were successful for us both and we are ready to lose the some more... I lost a total of 26 pounds and hubby lost a total of 15. Now we are shooting for the moon! We have set goals and although Hubby won't share his goals with me at this time I will share mine with you... 
I AIM to lost 30 pounds in 10 weeks!
That's only 3 pounds a week and I think I can do more than that on the protocol!
I think thats a realistic goal this time. But even more realistic is the fact that its boating season here soon and I don't want to be the fat chick on a boat anymore!
There I said it!

So we start tomorrow... Low calorie and specific foods along with an injection each morning of hCG. This round I will also be doing two workouts a week and walking 2 miles a day.
